CT pictures offer more detailed images than standard radiography, allowing clinicians to study bodily tissues and structures from various angles.

Fluoroscopy

This type of x-ray is used in conjunction with a fluorescent screen to provide real-time movement pictures within the patient's body. This is used to track the passage of a swallowed or ingested contrast substance for diagnostic reasons. Doctors used these x-rays to keep track of a patient's heartbeat and movement.
